    El Mollar and La Angostura

You can breathe calm in every corner of El Mollar. With the hills and the La Angostura dike as witnesses, this small touristic villa is 12 km away from Tafí del Valle and rises in a privileged spot near the Ñuñorco hill, surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes.

Its land, filled with archaeological remains of the Calchaquí culture, some of which are scattered or can be found in the backyards of local homes, adds a different charm to the place: menhirs, stone monoliths of around 2500 years –silent testimonies of a culture that inhabited this valley-, mortars, and the traditional stone walls provide an autochthonous tone to El Mollar.

The tourist will be able to camp, take long walks or horse riding, apart from enjoying a wide selection of hotels and an excellent regional gastronomy.

Its typical celebration is the Fiesta de la Verdura (Festival of the Vegetables) (link) that tends to be done towards the end of January.
